Our dental sedation options are designed to help you feel at ease, allowing us to complete your treatment while you stay calm and stress-free.

Should I Use Dental Sedation?

Dr. Evon will evaluate your health history to determine whether you would be eligible for dental sedation. Patients who fall into these categories are likely to receive sedative treatment:

  • Patients with developmental concerns: If you or a loved one finds it hard to stay still during health appointments, oral sedation can help them receive the service they need.
  • Services with large-scale treatment: Large-scale treatments such as implants and extractions benefit from the assistance of dental sedation to ease pain.
  • Individuals with dental anxiety: Patients with dental anxiety find dental sedation useful to help them stay focused and leave their stress at the door.

Relax During Your Visit with the Benefits of Dental Sedation

Patients have loved the implementation of dental sedation to make their visits much more effective and practical for their needs. To enhance your comfort, we also offer patient amenities such as music, blankets, and a soothing environment to help you feel at ease throughout your appointment.

When you feel at ease, your appointment becomes more efficient and stress-free. Sedation dentistry provides:

While under the influence of dental sedation, these tools can eliminate pain during the procedure and lessen the impact of the service afterward.

Dental sedation allows patients to feel less on edge, which helps dentists perform services quicker and without further complications.

Dental sedation eases the muscles around your gag reflex, helping patients who are more prone to the symptoms.

These tools are fast-acting and are built with customer satisfaction as their main purpose.

Our relationship-driven approach ensures that sedation isn’t just about making procedures easier—it’s about making you feel genuinely cared for in a way that fits your needs.

Dental Sedation Options with Dr. Evon

Nitrous oxide, more commonly known as “laughing gas”, is administered through a mask that uses a gaseous solution to help patients. These procedures also help patients feel at ease, but still responsive to any requests the dentist may have.

After the procedure, nitrous oxide takes roughly 10 minutes for patients to recenter themselves.

Oral conscious sedation is given through a pill that helps patients feel sleepy and at ease while the procedure takes place. The patient may fall asleep but is still able to communicate with the dentist. This medicine also helps patients reduce pain during the service.

Patients receiving oral conscious sedation will need a driver to transport them to and from their appointment, as the effects can linger for several hours after the procedure.

For patients needing deeper relaxation, we offer IV sedation administered by a trusted specialist who comes into our office. This method delivers medication directly into the bloodstream for precise, controlled sedation, keeping patients in a deeply relaxed state where they remain comfortable and have little to no memory of the procedure but can still respond if needed. Ideal for longer treatments or severe dental anxiety, IV sedation ensures a stress-free experience with maximum comfort.

Patients receiving IV sedation need to schedule the sedation and must have a driver to transport them from their appointment, as the effects can take time to fully wear off.
